Overview
This 8-day Iceland Ring Road adventure starts at KEF with a rented SUV. Over 7 nights in handpicked hotels, you’ll explore Reykjavík’s Hallgrímskirkja, Harpa, and Old Harbor, plus Sky and Blue Lagoons. Drive the South Coast to Vík (Seljalandsfoss, Skógafoss, Dyrhólaey), then east to Jökulsárlón and Diamond Beach. Head north via fjords to Akureyri, Goðafoss, Lake Mývatn, and Húsavík. Return south on day 7–8, with an optional final Blue Lagoon stop before departure.

Route & base: Arrive at KEF, pick up SUV, drive ~50 min to Reykjavík. Stay 2 nights in the city.

Old Harbor (colorful boats, cafes, whale tour departures)

🚗 Whale watching (from Old Harbor, 3–4 hrs tour): Humpbacks, minke whales, dolphins.
